Haiku poem by Joyce Riley

Haiku

Willow deep, pond mirrors

shine, ‘till thirsty sunbeams

drink reflections dry.

Wisteria lights

my path. I see the garden

with each breath I take.

Listen, a stranger

walks in the garden. No, it

is the wind dancing.

Caterpillar spins

a silent, grey cell where life

stirs butterfly wings.
